How to Use This Calculator

Number of Leads: The total number of leads you received (or plan to purchase) in a given period.

Cost Per Lead: Your average cost per individual lead from your provider.

Intake Cost (optional): Any additional costs for intake staff, software, or processing beyond the lead cost itself.

Signed Cases: How many of those leads became signed clients for your firm.

Why Cost Per Lead Alone Is Misleading

A $50 web lead that converts 5% of the time costs $1,000 per signed case. A $300 warm transfer that converts 30% costs $1,000 per signed case. A $750 signed retainer accepted 80% of the time costs $937 per signed case.

The cheapest lead is not always the most cost-effective. Always compare lead sources on a cost per signed case basis to make informed buying decisions.
